THERESA (TERI) S. CROWNOVER

Teri Crownover is keenly passionate about the Lord Jesus Christ and about loving and serving others.  This, coupled with her penchant for writing, led her to the exciting journey of drawing from her life’s experiences and entering the world of blogging – all in an effort to reach others with similar interests and offer the love and compassion of God.

Teri was introduced to God as a young child, but did not truly begin to understand the meaning of having a personal relationship with Him until she was 25 years old. Since then, and after over four decades of tremendous ups and traumatic downs, she longs to continue to grow in the knowledge of the wonder of abiding in the Shadow of the Almighty.  Such Amazing Grace!

She graduated from Florida State University in 1980, with degrees in Government and Foreign Languages.  In addition to homeschooling her children for many years, she has worked as a foreign language translator and interpreter, headed up a state-wide non-profit association, and, finally, as a medical transcriber.  Her community volunteer involvement has included singing in her church band, caring for the dying through hospice care, and serving as a certified Stephen Minister.

Teri and her beloved husband Charles live in Florida, and they have a small house in the mountains of Western North Carolina, a true retreat for the soul. She is blessed with four wonderful children and their awesome spouses, and four delightful grandchildren. She calls all twelve of them her “stars,” loving them all “up to the sky!”
